Students from other universities

The following information applies to students of other universities or faculties (e.g. TH Köln / study program MKSN ).

How do I register for courses at the H-BRS or in the Department of Computer Science?

1. You need an HBRS account in the Department of Computer Science.
   If you already have an account, skip this step. Enter your personal data on the registration page.
2. Once you received your account confirmation you can obtain your password from the ServicepointFB02 of the University. To receive the access data you MUST appear in person so that we can verify your identity. Therefore, it is recommended to pick up the access data before the first lecture.
3. Finally, you can use your account and password to register for the appropriate course. The deadline for official registration is the first Sunday after the start of the lectures. Use this LINK for your application. Please contact course assignment if online registration has already closed. The following information is then required: Name, matriculation number, username and the name of the course you want to take.
4. Access to course information takes place via LEA, similar to TH Köln, where you log in with the access data from the LEA support team. You will be assigned to courses in LEA overnight after successful registration (see 3.).
5. You will receive all certificates regarding your studies, courses, grades, etc. at the TH Köln.
